Matt joined Lally Group as a staff accountant in 2017 and became a shareholder in 2026. Prior to joining Lally he attended Michigan State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 2015 and his Master’s Degree in Accounting in 2016.

Matt obtained his CPA license in 2018 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Matt works with clients in a variety of roles. In the outsourced CFO and controller services he works closely with clients to aid in their tough business decisions. Through assurance and taxation services he gives clients confidence in their business results. He works with clients in many different industries, particularly the non-profit, telecommunications, and family-owned businesses. While serving these clients he has gained a great understanding of various accounting programs such as QuickBooks, Sage50, and some industry specific programs.

Outside of the office Matt enjoys traveling with family and friends, as well as attending Michigan State and Detroit sporting events.
